Our custom DinoChutes parachute protectors are a great way to keep your recovery gear away from the extreme heat of ejection gasses, virtually eliminating the need for traditional recovery wadding!
They're constructed of a flame resistant fabric (similar to Nomex®) with professionally serged edges made of aramid (Kevlar®) thread. The serging is dense so they'll last a long time rather than unraveling easily if they get slightly scorched. A button hole is sewn near one of the corners so that you can run your shock cord through it.
Our ‘chute protectors use three-thread serging around the edges for longevity. It takes more expensive aramid thread, but lasts longer for you. It is recommended that these be hand washed in warm water if you desire to clean them. Our flame resistant fabric protectors come with additional washing instructions in the package.
These blue colored fabric protectors are made from heavy-duty, 9-ounce flame-resistant fabric.
